Cutting a fringe can be a big step for some people. A fringe is a very personal thing and will vary according to face shape, hair type and texture. For a bob, a solid fringe is making a comeback. The best advice we can offer here is not to cut your fringe too deep.

Upkeep of your fringe is very important so rather pop in to your salon and ask them to give it a quick trim instead of doing it yourself. Nothing is more frustrating for a stylist than trying to fix a hashed up home job! It’s also important to note that growing out your fringe is a time consuming process and is frustrating at the best of times. Keep it out of your eyes by using accessories such as diamanté clips or pins. Once your fringe is long enough, I usually advise cutting some layers in the front of the hair. By doing this it blends the fringe in with the rest of the style and makes it more manageable.
